Taking time to smell the heather

Watch an eagle soar overhead, enjoy the thrill of spotting an otter on the shore or a school of playful porpoises.

Specifically for wildlife lovers, our Hebridean Island Adventure offers many such opportunities as well as a close and memorable encounter with puffins on the Isle of Lunga, part of the Treshnish Isles. There you can watch those delightful creatures between April and July nesting and rearing their young – far too busy to take any notice of you, the visitor.

Our hikes also take us close to historical events in the shape of ancient ruined settlements which sparks discussions about the clearances, there are mysterious stone circles, rock art and burial cairns reflecting ways of life and traditions which are part of Scottish culture.
